Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Herd Horizons, we understand that travel plans can change. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms related to cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling of trips and treks.

By booking a trip with us, you agree to the terms mentioned below:

1. Booking Cancellation by Traveler

If you cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges may apply:

  • 30 days or more before departure: 90% refund of the booking amount

  • 15–29 days before departure: 70% refund of the booking amount

  • 7–14 days before departure: 50% refund of the booking amount

  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund

Refunds will be processed after deducting any non-refundable costs such as permits, transport bookings, and accommodation reservations.

2. Cancellation by Herd Horizons

In rare cases, Herd Horizons may cancel a trip due to unavoidable circumstances such as:

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Safety concerns

  • Insufficient participants

In such cases, travelers will be offered:

  • Trip rescheduling option, or

  • Partial or full refund depending on expenses already incurred.

3. Refund Processing Tim

Refunds are processed within 7-14 working days after cancellation confirmation.The time taken for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

4. No-Show Policy

If a traveler does not show up on the departure date without prior notice, no refund will be provided.

5. Changes and Rescheduling

Travelers may request rescheduling of their trip subject to availability. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 10 days before departure. Additional charges may apply depending on availability and booking changes.

6. Non-Refundable Services

The following services may be non-refundable:

  • Permits and entry fees
  • Transportation bookings
  • Accommodation bookings
  • Adventure activity charges
  • Third-party service bookings

7. Partial Refunds

If a traveler leaves a trip midway due to personal reasons, no refund will be provided for unused services.

8. Payment Gateway Charges

Payment gateway charges and transaction fees may be deducted from the refund amount where applicable
